The special appearance of the chain is due to the special arrangement of the chain links. The round and oval eyelets are put together in pairs and polished. Note: Due to production-related deviations, the weight or width of the chain may vary by up to 5%. Silver also tends to discolour. This is a completely normal process and a sign that the silver is genuine. The reaction of the silver in the air causes silver sulphite to form, which results in a black colour. You can counteract this with the appropriate care. You can find out more about this in the fold-out tab "Care and storage".

Care and storage

As soon as you feel that the jewellery is discoloured, you should clean it. This makes it easier to remove the discolouration.
Optimal results can be achieved with appropriate cleaning and care products, such as a bath for silver jewellery, a polish and a silver cloth. You can of course also find these products in our shop.
Do not store the chain in damp places such as the bathroom or kitchen. The high humidity will cause the jewellery to discolour even faster.
Do not wear your jewellery during sport. Sweat, salt water, chlorine, etc. can also discolour the jewellery.
Cosmetics can also change the surface, so jewellery should not come into contact with creams, hairspray or perfume.
When the jewellery is not being worn, you should store it separately in a jewellery box.
In addition, you should pack the jewellery individually and as airtight as possible to protect it from scratches and tarnishing.
Contamination and damage to your jewellery due to improper care are not covered by the warranty.
