The name cuban link chain comes from the fact that it originally gained notoriety in a Cuban area in Miami. The cuban link chain also works well without a pendant as a standalone and completes any look. However, a pendant can also be strung on more delicate versions. It is usually made of silver or stainless steel and can also be found in wider or more filigree versions. Usually it is fastened with a lobster clasp. Due to its robust design, it is mainly used in men's jewellery.
