Diamond Engraving

Diamond engraving is a special way of giving a piece of jewellery an individual character. Special motifs, patterns, pictures, lettering or certain data are applied to the respective piece of jewellery with the help of a CNC machine and a diamond. In engraving, part of the surface is usually removed by a metal-cutting process. This is not the case with diamond engraving, where the hard diamond tip is pressed into the jewellery material, which the engraver has as a motive. The material of the jewellery, mostly precious metals of high value, is thus not reduced, as is the case with the usual engraving with a graver, but compressed. Particularly practical is the use of a modern CNC machine, which makes diamond engraving uncomplicated through computerized control technology. Each engraving is based on the fact that it gives a special piece of jewellery an even more unique character and thus creates an unmistakable and irreplaceable possession for the owner. In wedding rings the personal engraving shows the solidarity to the partner and also on other pieces of jewellery the individualization by special writing, exclusive patterns and ornaments as well as by special data is a characteristic of special jewellery.
