Digital Watch

A digital watch is an instrument for measuring time in which the time is not displayed in analog form but digits are used. A digital watch does not use mechanical processes inside, but relies on electrical technology. However, a digital watch can also use analogue technology to measure time. A digital watch can therefore use digital and analogue techniques to measure time. Digital clocks have no dial or hands, only different ways of displaying the time. LC displays are most commonly used in digital clocks. In the past, digital watches were often equipped with so-called drop-sheets, which are known from airport or railway station clocks. In the past, discs and rollers were also popular ways of displaying the time on a digital watch. The time itself is usually displayed in the variation 00h:00min:00sec on digital clocks, although deviations may occur from model to model. By the spectrum of the time indication from 0 o'clock to 24 o'clock can be distinguished in contrast to the analog clock always clearly between day and night time. Even though digital watches are often combined with inexpensive production, they are also available in high-quality versions made of valuable materials used in jewellery production.
