Ear Jewellery

In the ear jewellery category, jewellery lovers will find everything that can be attached to ornaments on and around the ear. In everyday language, the term earrings is often used for all ear jewellery, although earrings themselves do not include all the possibilities of ear jewellery. While earrings in the actual sense actually only designate the circular pieces of jewellery for the ear hole, but of course can be available in different sizes and designs, the field of ear jewellery covers much more and should therefore be more precisely differentiated. In addition to earrings, ear jewellery also include ear studs, ear clips, dangle earrings and also the modern ear cuffs and ear climbers. Stud earrings do not hang down from the ear, but show their respective decoration, e.g. a certain motive or a pearl, directly on the earlobe. An ear clip can also be worn without an ear hole and can have different shapes. Dangle earrings are carried on a long hook through the ear hole and do not have a clasp like earrings or stud earrings. Ear cuffs are round and open designed ear clips that are attached to the pinna of the ear. Ear climbers, as the name suggests, "climb" up the ear. The plug is then pushed through the ear hole and placed in the desired position. You can also press the earring down a little, depending on the shape of your ears. Ear jewellery can be made of any material commonly used in the jewellery industry; gold, silver, platinum and stainless steel are the most popular materials along with plastic, wood, pearls and glass.
