Cufflinks

Cufflinks are part of upmarket men's fashion and always appear in connection with particularly high-quality shirts, which are classically worn under a suit jacket. The cufflink joins the sleeves of the shirt at the lower end, the turn-up cuff, and in addition to this practical use, it also represents a classic piece of jewellery for men. Therefore, cufflinks are also made of a wide variety of materials and can have a high value. If the simple cufflink is still made of silk and rubber, the higher-quality models are made of stainless steel, silver, gold or platinum and feature noble designs or individual engravings. Glass, stone, wood or leather can also be processed into cufflinks. The cufflinks are always worn as a pair and are usually fastened with toggles or flap systems. In addition, there are also designs that can be fastened with wire chains. Since cufflinks are usually very personal possessions, the individualised pieces of jewellery with initials or a special coat of arms are often passed down as family heirlooms. In the highest price segment, the useful and decorative products are not only made of high-quality precious metal, but often also feature gemstone trimmings or inlays with other materials (enamel decorations, etc.).
