Finding the right bracelet length

Determining the right bracelet length isn’t always easy. This table provides guidance on the most common standard bracelet sizes.

Category Typical bracelet lengths Notes
Kids 12–14 cm (toddlers)
14–16 cm (school children)
Adjustable models are ideal.
Women 14–15 cm (very narrow)
16–17 cm (narrow)
17–18 cm (standard)
19–20 cm (larger)
18 cm is common, but 14–15 cm for very delicate wrists.
Men 19–20 cm (narrow)
21–22 cm (standard)
22–24 cm (larger)
21 cm is the most common men’s size.

Measure your wrist just above the wrist bone. Wrap the tape measure loosely and add a small comfort allowance:

  • Women: + 1.0–1.5 cm
  • Men: + 1.5–2.0 cm
  • Kids: + 0.5–1.0 cm

Wide bracelets fit tighter than slim designs—when in doubt, choose one size up.

No tape measure? Use a piece of string or a strip of paper and measure it with a ruler.

Wrap bracelets

  • Single wrap: circumference + 2.5 cm
  • Double wrap: (circumference + 3.5 cm) × 2
  • Triple wrap: (circumference + 3.5 cm) × 3

Bangles

Closed bangles: Determine the size based on the widest part of your hand.

Open bangles: Try on directly at the wrist. Slightly adjustable. Wider designs fit more snugly.

Note: The length stated in the shop refers to the total bracelet length including the clasp. Engraved items are excluded from exchange/returns.

Finding the right necklace length

It’s easy to fall in love with a necklace—but will it suit you? To help you find the right length, we’ve created a size chart showing how long each necklace length is.

Necklace lengths at a glance

Necklace length 35 to 40 centimeters – Short necklace
Necklaces between 35 and 40 cm sit very close to the neck and are usually only suitable for people with a very slender neck. Short necklaces, however, create a very elegant look. Pearl necklaces in particular are often worn close to the neck and paired with an updo.
Necklace length 40 to 50 centimeters – Standard necklace
Necklaces from 40 to 50 cm are among the standard chain lengths and are ideal for any pendant. The necklace sits in the upper décolleté area and offers great wearing comfort. Lengths up to 50 cm are very popular and especially suitable for everyday wear.
Necklace length 50 to 65 centimeters – Long necklace
Necklaces in this length range work for any occasion and always look good. If you’re not sure which necklace length to buy, this length is an excellent choice. It suits every woman and goes with almost any outfit. Depending on your height, the necklace sits around the middle of the décolleté.
Necklace length 65 to 100 centimeters – Very long necklace
Very long necklaces sit in the lower décolleté area and extend well below it. Long necklaces can often be styled in different ways, e.g., worn as a double strand. This allows the necklace to be worn as a layered (double) necklace or as a single strand. Large pendants turn long necklaces into a special highlight.

Ring size guide

Please note that for our rings we use the German sizing system, stated as the inner circumference in mm. Alternatively, you can provide the inner diameter in mm. We cannot accept liability for mix-ups with foreign sizing systems.

Engraved rings, rings with modified stone settings, and rings made especially for you are excluded from exchange/returns. Therefore, we strongly recommend ordering rings via our try-on service.

Not all sizes are available for every ring. Please refer to the respective product page for available sizes. We generally offer only whole ring sizes—except for gold rings. For gold rings, intermediate sizes are possible because these rings are made individually for you.

For ring sets, we offer two different try-on services (try-on service for gold rings and try-on service for rings). You can find the exact process in our FAQs.
Individual rings can be ordered without engraving and then sent back to us for engraving at a later time. In this case, shipping costs and the engraving surcharge may apply.

Multisizer

If you are unsure about determining your ring size, we can send you a Multisizer for EUR 3.50. If you have little or no experience with rings, we recommend having your ring size measured by a jeweler (by circumference), as we cannot exchange engraved rings. Upon request, we are happy to send you the rings unengraved first so you can try them on. We strongly advise against using a printable template or measuring old rings with a ruler, as ring comfort is affected by differences of tenths of a millimeter. The Multisizer is also only a guide—if used incorrectly, deviations from your actual size may occur.

Water resistance of watches

The water resistance of a watch should be checked by a professional every two to three years—ideally once a year before the swimming season. The bar rating is not the same as the corresponding water depth! A pressure of 3 bar may correspond to a water depth of 30 meters, but these are laboratory test pressures. In real use, these pressure limits can be exceeded even at shallow depths. If the pressure limit is exceeded, water may enter the watch. If you are unsure whether your watch is suitable for certain dives, avoid using it in water. Permanent water resistance cannot be guaranteed.
