For handwriting to be suitable for engraving on jewellery, it should meet the following requirements: It is best to use a dark pen such as a fineliner or felt-tip pen so that the writing is clearly legible and high in contrast. The white, unlined paper is especially important to ensure that no lines or shadows affect the engraving result and that all details are clearly visible later on the piece of jewellery. The template should be digitised as a sharp, well-lit photo with the background kept as bright as possible. Ideally, only the handwriting is visible in the image. Try to adapt the layout of the text to the shape of the piece of jewellery as much as possible, for example a single line for engraving plates or several lines for round pendants. The clearer, more high-contrast and more distinct the template is, the more beautiful and detailed the engraving result on your piece of jewellery will be.
